Earlier this month, I had the chance to display by Mrs D knitting kits and luxury alpaca yarn at the first Killearn Country Market of the year. It was a very well-attended event and it was great to see so many people supporting local businesses.
I am now very excited to announce that by Mrs D will be at the Killearn Country Market on Easter Sunday (5 April 2015). I will again be offering knitting kits, knitting patterns and luxury alpaca yarn for sale. In addition, this month I will have a selection of hand-knitted accessories for sale – including headbands, hats and scarves.
The Market is a chance for local businesses to showcase their products to the local community. Products range from knitwear, jewellery and greetings cards to handmade pasta, tasty baking and much more. This month the Market is also offering a chance to win an Easter hamper full of locally produced goodies so it’s definitely worth a visit!
Killearn Country Market is held on the first Sunday of every month from 1pm to 4pm in the Killearn Village Hall (around 30 minutes north of Glasgow). Here are a list of the dates for your diary!
