I really enjoyed the most recent by Mrs D photo shoot. Here’s a hint why…

Yes, we were ‘on location’ beside a cosy wood-burning fire! The weather in Glasgow has been so wet over the past few months that each of our planned weekend photo shoots has been rained off! Those rain clouds didn’t look like they were departing anytime soon and so we took the plunge and fixed an indoor shoot. Of course, this had the added benefit that I managed to stay lovely and warm throughout the whole shoot, without needing to dive for a quilted coat to heat up in between clicks!
And the results…
The Cairns Cable Knit Scarf is a new addition to my knitwear designs. This chunky knit design can be worn three ways – as a scarf, buttoned up loosely as an infinity scarf/snood or pulled tightly up around your neck as a cowl and fastened in place. A pretty yet functional accessory to keep you cosy on those cold winter days!
To match the Cairns Scarf and increase by Mrs D’s headband range, here’s the Cairns Cable Knit Headband.
This is a super quick project resulting in a chunky knit headband that looks more complicated than it actually is! If you can knit, purl and are feeling brave enough to tackle a cable needle, this one’s for you.
The Cairns Cable Knit Headband and Scarf are now available at my Etsy store – either as a set or individual PDF patterns.
Happy knitting!
